Prayer of the Day
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4–7
Lord, help my spouse and I to love and cherish each other unconditionally and completely, the way You love us. In our words, tone, deeds, and decisions, may we proactively practice patience, kindness, humility, politeness, selflessness, forbearance, forgiveness, and truthfulness. Help us choose to protect and trust each other, and to be hopeful and persevering toward each other, in good times and bad. May we seek to show Christ to each other in all areas of life.
