May I Serve You Rightly

Holy Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve sinned against You in my anger, in how I speak harshly to my spouse and children, in how I bear grudges against perceived wrongs, and in how I am prone to impatience and frustration when my spouse and children don’t do things my way. Teach me to daily put off my old self of selfishness, and to put on my new self of Christlikeness. May I grow in showing kindness to my family, teaching my children Your Word, and being forgiving and forbearing, for Your name’s sake.
