Prayer of the Day
Everyone should provide for their own relatives. Most of all, everyone should take care of their own family. If they don’t, they have left the faith. They are worse than someone who doesn’t believe.
1 Timothy 5:8 NIRV
Lord, thank You for entrusting me with this responsibility to provide for and to take care of my family, in the unique role of husband or wife, and father or mother, that You have given to me. Grant me Your strength, wisdom, and grace to care for each of my family members—even when and especially when it is tiring, challenging and seemingly fruitless. Help me to remember that in serving them, I am serving You.
