Prayer of the Day
When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce . . . you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow.
Deuteronomy 26:12
Father, You have commanded us to be compassionate to the needy and generous to others, as far back as when Moses instructed the Israelites to give to those in need. Show me who might need my help today and how I can be generous towards them. Teach my children how to be generous to others as well, as they observe us and learn from Your perfect example.
