Prayer of the Day
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21
Lord Jesus, I confess that I can get overly preoccupied with worldly aspirations, my family’s financial situation, and my children’s grades and future. I pray that as I read, reflect on, and respond to Your Word, I will grow to be single-minded and whole-hearted in my devotion to You. Help me to say with conviction, and my life to reflect the same: “To live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
