Prayer of the Day
This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.”
Haggai 1:7
O Lord, forgive us for the times when we merely went through the motions of our faith without giving “careful thought” to our ways (Haggai 1:7). Help us to slow down and to be still and silent before You. As we ponder over our walk with You and how we have lived in the sight of our children, may we repent of our sins against You, and commit to love You with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength once more (Matthew 22:37).
