Prayer of the Day
Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Lord, strengthen my child’s faith and enable her to develop the spiritual resolve to stand firm in the face of opposition and persecution. May she always have the courage to openly acknowledge You as Lord of her life. May she always be concerned for Your reputation and may she be a person after Your own heart. Let Your light shine through her life, so that others may see her good deeds and glorify You.
