Prayer of the Day
[Jesus said] “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.”
Luke 17:3–4
Gracious Saviour, I pray that You cultivate within me and my children a capacity to forgive—and to forgive continuously and repeatedly (Luke 17:4). Forgive me and my children for the times we have borne grievances against one another. May I meditate on Your abounding love and forgiveness for me, and extend and model the same to my children, so that they, too, will learn to forgive much as You have forgiven us much.
