Prayer of the Day
They bowed down and worshipped him.
Matthew 2:11
Almighty God, thank You for giving to us Your one and only Son, Immanuel—God with us—to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:20). It is unimaginable for us as parents to sacrifice our own children for the sake of sinners—and yet, that is exactly what You did. May we worship You in awe and gratitude for Your precious gift of Jesus, and show our children how much You are worthy to be praised. And may we let Jesus rule in our hearts and lives as our Saviour, Lord, and King.
