Prayer of the Day
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
—Proverbs 27:17
I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
—Romans 1:11–12
Lord, help my child be a good and godly friend, always selflessly thinking about others and showing care and concern. May her words and actions point others toward You. Bring believing friends into her life who will do the same for her. When temptations and difficult decisions come, speak wisdom to them that they may help each other make choices that honor You. May they constantly give each other godly counsel, encouragement, and support to live for You.
