Prayer of the Day
Warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
1 Thessalonians 5:14
Merciful Father, thank You for Your loving discipline, empowerment, guidance, and forbearance towards us. We ask for Your wisdom to know how to love our children in the same way. Help us to discern when it is wise to warn them when they are being lazy, to encourage them when they’re down, to help them in their time of need, and to show patience to them. May we be slow to react out of anger or frustration, but quick to relate to them with tender love.
