Prayer of the Day
The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face towards you
and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24–26
Lord, thank You for this ancient priestly blessing, which You gave Aaron and his sons to bless Your people on Your behalf. Thank You for blessing us, preserving and protecting us, showing us favour and kindness, and giving us peace. Help me to meditate on Your blessing this day, so that I will be able to face my work, chores, childcaring duties, and other responsibilities in confidence, knowing that Your presence and peace goes with me.
