Prayer of the Day
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
2 Corinthians 7:10
Lord, You see and know every evil and sinful thought we have, every unkind and careless word we speak, and every dishonest and disobedient thing we do. Forgive me for the times I’ve been impatient and unloving towards my children and spouse, and forgive my children for the times they have sinned against You. May we come before You in godly sorrow and repentance, that we may find forgiveness and salvation at the foot of the cross. Open our eyes to Your holiness, that we may worship and live before You in fear and trembling.
