Prayer of the Day
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Lord, may Your Holy Spirit work in my child so as to produce the fruit of the Spirit in his life. Plant the desire in his heart to live a life that counts for eternity, a life where he bears much Christ-like character. Help him be intentional and passionate about his own spiritual growth and help him remain connected to You. I pray that the fruit he produces will be a reflection of his transformed heart, and not just for show.
