Prayer of the Day
Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:24
Heavenly Father, I pray that my children and I will put off our old selves, which are “corrupted by its deceitful desires” (Ephesians 4:22), and put on our new selves this day, as we seek to be holy as You are holy. Renew the attitude of our minds through Your Word, and keep us pure and blameless by Your Spirit. May we embrace Your process of sanctification, and grow to be more and more like You.
