Prayer of the Day
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.
Psalm 96:4
Lord, I confess that my prayers are at times centred more on my needs and wants than on worshipping You in all Your glory. Lift my eyes to behold Your majesty, that I might praise Your name, proclaim Your salvation, and declare Your marvellous deeds to those around me (Psalm 96:2–3). I pray that my family will ascribe to You the glory that You deserve, and worship You in all your holiness (vv. 7–8). You are indeed all worthy of praise!
