Prayer of the Day
Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2:7–8
Heavenly Father, help me to be a mother who lovingly meets not just my children’s physical and emotional needs, but also their spiritual needs, as I seek to weave Your gospel into our home life. Grant me a joyful spirit as I go about loving, caring, and nourishing my children with the bread of Your Word. Help me to be a spiritual mother to others outside our home, that I may share with others not only the gospel but my life as well.
