Your Enduring Word

Lord Jesus, You know the burdens that my children, spouse, and I are carrying this day. And yet, we know that the news we read, the trials we face, the sorrows we carry—all these will pass away. What will stand is Your enduring Word. Help me to teach my children the holy Scriptures from young, so that they will continue in and be convinced by Your living Word, which is able to make us “wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” and will thoroughly equip us for “every good work” (2 Timothy 3:14–15, 17).
