Prayer of the Day
We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
O Lord, thank You for saving me from my sins and spiritual death even though I was deserving of Your righteous wrath (Ephesians 2:3). Thank You for lavishing upon me Your great love, rich mercy, and grace in kindness in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4–7). Use me as Your instrument to do the good works You have prepared for me to do today—whether it is attending to my children’s needs, helping my spouse with chores and errands, or reaching out to someone in need.
