Prayer of the Day
You know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonians 2:11–12
God of all comfort, thank You for being the perfect model of fatherly love and for giving us the example of Paul, so that I can grow as a godly father. May I strive to be blameless in Your sight and to desire and love You above all else, so that I will set an example to my children. Grant me the wisdom and grace to know how to encourage, comfort, and urge them, so that they will be moved to live lives worthy of You.
