Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands.
1 Thessalonians 4:11
Blessed Saviour, forgive me for the times I have gossiped about others, or been idle and wasteful in spending my time and resources. Help me to lead a quiet life and to be intentional in turning away from worthless talk, and to seek Your will for me each day. In doing so, I pray that my daily life may win the respect of my children and outsiders (1 Thessalonians 4:12), to Your glory.
