Prayer of the Day
Where there is strife, there is pride,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Proverbs 13:10
Merciful Lord, I confess of my pride for the times I have thought myself better than others and stubbornly refused to listen to advice—whether from Your Word, my spouse, or even my children. Help my family not to be haughty or proud, but to listen to Your Word and to heed sound advice from others, so that we can grow in humility and wisdom.
