Prayer of the Day
[Cornelius] and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
Acts 10:2
Lord, may my family be found faithful, prayerful, and worshipful in Your sight, as Cornelius and his family were. May we fear and revere Your name in all that we say and do, and be devoted and obedient to You in every way. Help us not to shun service, but to seek opportunities to be generous and hospitable to others, and to be willing to give of our time, energy, and resources, as we follow after Your example of sacrificial servanthood.
