Prayer of the Day
Let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream!
Amos 5:24
O Lord, You are a perfect and holy God who hates injustice and unrighteousness of any kind (Amos 5:11–12). Forgive us for the times when we might have contributed to injustice, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Forgive us for the times when we think unkindly, speak harshly, and act selfishly. Forgive us for the times when we fail to live righteously and do what is right in Your eyes. May my family seek and love what is good, and to avoid and hate even the smallest hint of evil (Amos 5:14–15).
