Prayer of the Day
By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.
Proverbs 24:3–4
Gracious God, I pray that my children will desire and seek Your wisdom by listening to advice and accepting discipline (Proverbs 19:20). May they be humble, meek, and reverent in their relationship with You and others, and may we as their parents reflect these qualities in our own lives. I pray that our family and home will be built on the foundation of Your wisdom and words, and be filled with the fruit of Your Spirit.
