Prayer of the Day
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32
Lord, forgive me for the times I have been impatient, frustrated, and angry towards my spouse and children. As I meditate on Your Word, help me to relate to my family as Christ relates to me, in kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. Help me to “get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice” (Ephesians 4:31), and to speak words that build up and give grace to my family (v. 29).
