Prayer of the Day
God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain that I will show you.”
Genesis 22:2
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You gave Your one and only beloved Son as a sacrifice for our sins, so that we will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). While I can never fathom how great a sacrifice You made, I can only fall at Your feet in awe, worship, and gratitude. Help me to always treasure this gift of eternal life that You freely give to me. And help my loved ones to trust in Your love and to love others as You first loved them.
