Prayer of the Day
These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
John 20:31
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious gospel of hope, and for recording Your acts in the Bible so that we can believe in You and have life in Your name. May my spouse and I teach and live out Your living Word, so that our children will not forget or forsake You, but learn to put their trust in You, to obey You, and in time, to tell their own children of You (Psalm 78:5–8). Enable and equip us as a family to anchor our lives upon Your holy Word, so that we can grow in wisdom and the fear of the Lord.
