Save Us Sinners

Gracious God, thank You for sending Your Son to save a wretched sinner like me. You know every evil thought, word, and deed of mine. Grant me, in Your mercy, a fresh cleansing of my sins. Help me not to focus on the flaws and wrongs of my children and spouse, but to look inwards at the state of my own heart, and to genuinely humble myself and repent before You. May I ponder over the riches of Your mercy, and extend the same “immense patience” that Jesus has shown me to my family (1 Timothy 1:16).
