Prayer of the Day
He who forms the mountains,
who creates the wind,
and who reveals his thoughts to mankind,
who turns dawn to darkness,
and treads on the heights of the earth—
the LORD God Almighty is his name.
Amos 4:13
Merciful and mighty God, we acknowledge You as our Creator and Maker. Thank You for forming us out of dust, and giving us life and breath and everything we need each day. May we never take Your mercy upon our family for granted. For You are holy and righteous, yet loving and gracious in all Your ways. Help me to teach my children about who You are and what You have done, so that they too will declare that the Lord God Almighty is Your name.
