Prayer of the Day
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
Joel 2:13
Lord, forgive my children for the times they have taken Your kindness and forbearance for granted, and sinned against You in their thoughts, words, and actions. Indeed You are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. May they respond by returning to You in fear, humility, and godly sorrow. Let them not merely confess with their lips but truly repent in their hearts (Joel 2:12). Have mercy on them and lead them back to You.
