Prayer of the Day
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 2:1–2
Lord, You are all holy, just, and righteous in Your majesty and divinity. You see and know every sin I commit—whether intentional or unintentional. And yet, You freely and graciously forgive me when I repent of them before You. Thank You for granting me a cleansing of my sins through the death of Jesus in my place. Impart to me and my children the magnitude of our sins—as well as the magnitude of Your grace, kindness, and forgiveness.
