Prayer of the Day
[Jesus said] “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Matthew 26:39
Merciful Father, I pray that my children will learn to submit to Your will as revealed through Your living Word. Shape and mould them to be more like Christ in love, sacrifice, and obedience, so that in times of testing they will pray as our Saviour did: “Not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39). Guide and strengthen my children so that they will grow up to be godly men and women who desire and glorify You.
