Prayer of the Day
I . . . want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
1 Timothy 2:9–10

Heavenly Father, may I spend more time praying, worshipping, and serving You, than buying clothes, putting on make-up, or worrying over my appearance. Help me to remember that true, lasting, and unfading beauty comes not from my youthfulness or wardrobe, but from “a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in [Your] sight” (1 Peter 3:4). May I endeavour to glorify You in every way, from the clothes I wear, to my submission to my husband.
