Prayer of the Day
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
—2 Peter 1:3
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
—Isaiah 41:10
Lord, I feel inadequate as a parent. I don’t know what to do or say to guide my child in Your ways. But I choose not to be fearful, overwhelmed, or dismayed. I choose to trust that, in the midst of (perceived or real) inadequacy, Your divine power has given me everything I need to be a godly parent. Enable me to trust in Your adequacy to keep me moving forward in this parenting journey.
