Prayer of the Day
Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
Isaiah 55:6
Loving God, I seek Your forgiveness for the times I fail to seek and call on You, instead choosing to run the next errand, complete the next chore, and make my next plan. May I not “[spend my] labour on what does not satisfy” (Isaiah 55:2), but seek You with my whole heart. Teach me to pause and dwell on the richness of Your Word each day, that I might find everlasting joy in You.
