Prayer of the Day
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
Lord Jesus, thank You for setting my family free from the burden of sin and slavery, so that we can be free to live for You. May we “throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”, so that we can persevere in this race of faith (Hebrews 12:1–2). Help us not to be distracted or discouraged by the stumbling blocks of this world, but to fix our eyes on You, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (v. 2). May we as parents lead by example, standing firm and serving one another humbly in love (Hebrews 12:3).
