Prayer of the Day
[God said] “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
Romans 9:15-16
O God, You are sovereign in every way including in the salvation of my children. Forgive me for the times when I’ve thought that I could make their salvation happen by doing all the “right” things. Help me to be faithful in leading them to the gospel every day—but to also submit entirely to Your sovereign and merciful will.
