Prayer of the Day
The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
Loving God, You know everything that’s weighing on my mind today, and how I can often worry too much about my children and family situation. I commit all my anxieties to You in prayer, and present all my requests to You. Even in the midst of my burdens, may I always find reasons to rejoice in and give thanks to You. I pray that Your peace will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus today. Help me to dwell on and do whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, knowing that You are with me (Philippians 4:8–9).
