Renewed Day By Day

Lord of heaven and earth, I confess that there are times when I worry over my greying hair and ageing body. I surrender my fears of growing old to You, and ask that You help me to set my eyes on the hope of resurrection, when my mortal body will be clothed with an eternal and imperishable body at Christ’s return (1 Corinthians 15:52–54). In the meantime, help me to believe in this glorious promise and reality that You have in store for my family, and to make it my goal to please You as I raise my children for Your glory.
