Prayer of the Day
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Colossians 3:13
Gracious Saviour, I confess of the times I have not bridled my tongue, and been sharp and argumentative with my spouse and children over small matters. As I meditate on Your gracious, generous forgiveness towards me, I pray that I would learn to daily clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and forbearance, being quick to forgive and quick to overlook grievances (Colossians 3:12–13). Let Your peace rule in my heart this day.
