Prayer of the Day
For I too was a son to my father, still tender, and cherished by my mother.
—Proverbs 4:3
Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
—1 Thessalonians 2:7–8
Lord, grant me a strong heart-to-heart connection with my child. I pray that my child will see how everything I do or say comes from a heart of love. Even in my mistakes, may my child see my sincere love and may we always reconcile with each other. Strengthen the parent-child bond so that I may have more opportunities to speak into my child’s life, guide him with Your wisdom, pray with him to seek Your counsel, and even serve with him to bless others.
