Prayer of the Day
I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
2 Timothy 1:5
Gracious God, thank You for recording the inspiring lives of Lois and Eunice as an example for us as parents to pass on our faith to our children. We pray that our living relationship with You would be reflected in our lives, so that our children will see Jesus in us, and come to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour—and perhaps one day, their children after. May we remember that our role as parents is not just to provide for their physical, mental, and emotional needs, but also to point them to their spiritual need for a Saviour. Guide us, we pray.
