Prayer of the Day
God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19
Lord Jesus, thank You for entrusting to us the great commission, to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey” everything You have commanded us (Matthew 28:18–20). We pray that this will start under our roof—in the way that we model Your love, forgiveness, and reconciliation before our children. Help us to be quick to forgive each other when others sin against us, and to be intentional in discipling our children. In so doing, may we be blameless ambassadors of Yours before a watching world.
