Prayer of the Day
[The angel said] “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”
Daniel 12:3
Gracious Lord, forgive us for the times we have been so inward-looking and focused on our own family’s needs that we forget our ultimate purpose in life: to bring You glory. Grant me and my family a clearer vision to see and know Your will for us, a deeper thirst and hunger for Your Word, and a stronger desire to testify of Jesus Christ. In doing so, we pray that we will be like shining stars who “lead many to righteousness”, for Your name’s sake (Daniel 12:3).
