Whatever We Do

Lord of heaven and earth, enable my family to put on our new identity in Christ this day, as Your “chosen people, holy and dearly loved” (Colossians 3:12). Help us to set our hearts and minds on the things above, to love and forgive others as You love and forgive us, and to dwell in the richness of Your Word. Nurture in us and our children a thankful and worshipful attitude, so that whatever we do—in word or deed—we will do in the name of our Lord Jesus, giving thanks to You through Him (v. 17).
