Prayer of the Day
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8

Gracious God, forgive us for the times when we merely performed the external rituals of our faith without truly worshipping You in our hearts and minds. For You do not delight in outward sacrifices, but in a “broken and contrite heart” (Psalm 51:17). Create in me and my children a pure heart and steadfast spirit, so that we can be in a right relationship with You and others. May our faith be reflected in how we seek to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You all the days of our life.
