Prayer of the Day
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17
Heavenly Father, all that I have comes from Your gracious hand, whether it’s my children, marriage, vocation, or skills to serve You. Thank You for blessing me so generously with all these good and perfect gifts. Forgive me for the times I have envied others for the gifts You have sovereignly given to them and sovereignly denied to me. Teach me contentment in You, so that I can model to my children what a grateful heart looks like.
