Prayer of the Day
[God said] “You shall have no other gods before me. . . . You shall not bow down to them or worship them.”
Exodus 20:3, 5
O Lord, You are matchless in Your divinity, sovereignty, and majesty. I confess that I have often worshipped idols—whether it’s success, money, or reputation—and perhaps even influenced my children to do the same. I repent and pray that I will not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but transform me by the renewing of my mind, so that I can test and approve of Your good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). And, enable and equip me to renew my children’s minds through the teaching and living out of Your Word.
