Prayer of the Day
[Jesus said] “The seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Matthew 13:23
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us Your life-giving words so that we can live rightly in Your sight. Protect us and our children from the schemes and temptations of the evil one, grant us the endurance to persevere in the face of troubles and suffering, and guard us against the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth (Matthew 13:22). Illumine our minds as we read and meditate on Your holy Word, so that we will be like the seed falling on good soil—who hear, understand, and bear much fruit that glorify You.
